Ashland, OR: Home of the “nones”?

That’s according to the exhaustive “Religious Congregations & Membership in the United States, 2000,” issued by the Catholic-affiliated Glenmary Research Center.
The 564-page Glenmary report will be a bible of sorts for us Data Road Trippers this summer; it maps the nation’s adherents county-by-county, faith-by-faith. But, as in the case of Jackson, [see entire entry...]

Where you go to pray in the least populated county in the US

Tiny church
This little church is over one-hundred years old and lives in Loving County, TX, the least populated county in the US. With a whopping 80 residents, Loving is located in the West Texas desert and is roughly the size of Houston.
