Lawsuit filed against Bible class in public school

Not something we’re working on, but the role of faith in public schools was something we discussed in class. A lawsuit has been filed against a West Texas school district for a Bible course that was created last year. This is also the school that was written about in “Friday Night Lights” - the football fanatic story.
Interestingly, the course was created by a private group that pushes for Bible curriculum in public schools. Here’s the ACLU press release:
