A Day’s Work

June 14th, 2006

It’s late. We’re exhausted. We’re damp from the rain that came down all day. But how was the reporting? Pretty near perfect. Great interviews. Good footage despite the rain. And a serious amount of ground covered in a single day.

With the help of some very patient Public Affairs Officers, the five of us managed to: spend two hours talking with an impressively sharp general, experience the surreal atmosphere of the DMZ, fire automatic weaponry and, last but not least, watch the U.S. ambassador to Korea rock out on the drums.

We promise to post details and photos soon. We just need a few hours of sleep first.
