Beautiful to see your story...It is much like what our church family is experiencing in Grace Lutheran, Hartford Ct. We are an old euro=american congregation that has a history of being a refuge and welcoming place . We are unique among Lutheran churches in that we are a blended multicultural community...and we though many throughout the earth are one body in this one Lord! We have a small satalite office of Lutheran immigration Serviceat grace and in July where asked for assistance in settling a Karen family..There was wonderful out pouring of help and soon our first settled family attended church and then brought more friends and family! We are now doing readings in both languages and The Karen people share their music with us.Our pastor is providing ESL to 25 adults and volunteers help with child care. Like you our church family was graying and numbers shrinking but a few new folks always seemed to arrive as older members passed away. We have been in a process of seeking to decern God's will for Grace and we are sure he has given us our answer. We are in a learning curve trying to help them with food shortages, jobs. health and education issues and seek grants and auxillary agency help in meeting their needs. One great question involves what type of foods we can collect and offer to the community that they will recognize and know what to do with. If we should attempt teaching american cooking and sanitation classes. We feel truly blessed by our Karen brothers and sisters and are looking for any informational assistance you might have learned in your eight year experience....Yes this is the cutting enge of what the church needs to be about! Looking forward to hearing from you. yours in Christ...Peace Gail Lindstrom

Dear Pastor,
Calvary greetings to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope that
you are doing well there in overseas.
I am very glad to come across your contact details on website, I thank God
for coming to know you, I believe it is God`s networking. There is something
that God wants to accomplish between us, although we are far in distance but
distance is nothing to God. Praise the Lord.
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself to you:
I am Pastor Duncan Nyozani, I live here in Phalombe District, in southern
region of Malawi, a small and one of the poorest countries in the world. I
was saved in 1999 in Blantyre, one of our cities in Malawi at the time I
attended a crusade conducted by Rev Ernest Angley from USA. Then later in
2000 I was called to a pastor ministry.I pastor a church called Searchlight
Ministries, based in Msema village, Phalombe. The church has a total
membership of 160 , we have also a church branch in Mozambique having 90
members. Last month we went to Mozambique to visit our church there.
I am married to Maggie, we have three children all son, namely: Isaac, Mike
and Brian.
At our church here in Malawi, we have a small orphanage caring for 20
orphans. There are 900 orphans in our village that are very needy. These
orphans are so much starving, they need food, shelter, clothing, blankets,
shoes, school fees.We are meeting with financial problems in caring for
these 40 orphans, we run this by small contributions, doing farming,
fundraising, etc. It is our prayer to get a monthly support to feed these
dying orphans.
Here in Malawi, we are meeting in a good church building with iron sheets
but it is small now because we are many. But in Mozambique they are meeting
under a grass shade where by when it rains they do not meet. There is a
great need there to build a good church roofed with corrugated sheets. I
will send photos of our churches, orphans if you may want.
It has been our prayer to get affiliated with a good bible teaching church
in overseas that can encourage us , help us evangelize the country of Malawi
and Mozambique. But we have been failing. Are you able to give us spiritual
covering to our ministry?
Please may you help me and pray for my ministry, there is a lot to be done
here. And if you are led to give spiritual covering, you are welcome.
This is what I want you to do for us.
Looking forward to hear from you as soon as possible.
God bless you.
Your in Jesus Christ,
Pastor Duncan Nyozani

You deserve to know!!! Although many people do not know where the doctrine of "The Trinity" comes from, they accept it as part of the Bible. Many people accept this doctrine because it is the teaching of their church. Many accept it because they have been taught about the trinity for many years, so it must be right. Others accept this teaching only because they don't know of any other teaching concerning God.
We believe that if people actually knew where this teaching originated from, they would not accept it. The trinity was not taught by the Apostles of the Bible. Jesus didn't teach about a trinity. The number three is never used in association with God. Still, most Christians believe in a trinity. Could so many people all be wrong?
YES!!!
Here are the FACTS.
Several hundred years before Jesus was ever born, lived a man named Socrates. He was a philosopher, a man who sought for wisdom. He received his wisdom from an "internal sign"(1), which he considered to be "divine"(2). It spoke to him in "a kind of voice"(3). We would like to believe that it was God speaking to him, but it wasn't.
When asked if these "voices" were Zeus, Apollo, and Athena (3 Greek gods), Socrates said, "Certainly". When asked if they were his gods, he answered, "My lords and ancestors"(4). This man was not in communication with the God of the Bible.
He explained that his wisdom came from these spirits that were "knowing or wise". He openly declared that these wise spirits were demons(5). He esteemed these wise ones, these greek gods, these demons, and they were the source of his wisdom.
Socrates had a famous student named Plato. He was born in 427 B.C. in Athens, Greece. He taught and believed many things that are against the Bible. One example was his idea that there is a universal diety composed of three separate beings. He never called his diety a trinity, but his concept of God was referred to as the "Platonic Trinity". The three persons in this triad were: God, the Ideas, and the World Spirit. These were almost identical to Socrates' gods: Zeus, "the Father"(6); Apollo, the begotten son of Zeus who was the "god of intellect";(7) and Athena whose name means, "eternal life", who was an unbegotten spirit-being who came into the world from the head of Zeus(8).Thus in the teachings of Plato, we have a pagan trinity of gods: father, begotten son, and unbegotten spirit.
Plato also had a famous student, Aristotle. Aristotle taught Alexander the Great, and as a result, this philosophy spread throughout the world. These philosophies were existing in the days of Jesus Christ, and in the centuries that followed. Although the Apostles who preached the truths found in the Bible were not influenced by these men and their teachings, other men were.
As the church left the time of the apostles, men began introducing teachings that were different from the Apostles teachings. This was a plan conceived by the devil to steal the truth from the church, and it almost worked. Within 300 years of the founding of the church, there existed the Roman Catholic Church. This church changed many truths into false traditions. The teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are based on the teachings of certain men referred to as 'Church Fathers'.
One of the earliest fathers was Justin Martyr, who in 133 A.D. became a Christian after studying the philosophies of Socrates and Plato. Justin said there was no difference between Christianity and these philosophies; that Christianity fulfills the highest aspirations of Plato(9). Justin also said that the Bible and Plato agreed(10). Justin called Socrates, whose name means 'mighty saviour', a "Christian before Christ"(11). This is the same Socrates who said his teachings were from false gods and demons. Although the Catholic Church does not regard all of Justin's teachings, they admit, "His influence is marked above all in Iraenaeus, Tertullian, Hippolytus, and Origen,(other Catholic Church fathers) who built on foundations laid by him"(12). The New Catholic Encyclopedia says, "Justin's Platonism seriously affects his theology of the relationship between the Father and the Logos"(13).
In 185 A.D. Origen, who is mentioned above, declared that, "all truth is precious, whether in Greek or Christian soil... He recognized in the revived Plato a powerful ally of Christianity"(14). Origen "used the philosophy of the Greeks as the vestibule through which to admit his hearers into the temple of the gospel"(15).
Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15). All philosophers were required to wear a special coat when fulfilling their office. It was a coat made of sheep's wool. These philosophers were the ones Jesus was speaking of. Justin Martyr even wore this coat. Origen said he used the philosophies of these men to show people the gospel. Unfortunately these philosophies originated, not in heaven, but in hell.
Socrates called one of his lords "Apollo". In the book of Revelation 9:11, the angel of the bottomless pit is called by two names. One of them is Abaddon, the Hebrew word for destroyer. The other name is Appolyon, which is the very same as Apollo. The devil is the man who gave Socrates his ideas and philosophies. Many of the Catholic Church Fathers used these philosophies to form Church doctrines, including "The Trinity".
In 325 A.D., the Council of Nicea established that the Father and Son were separate. The champion of this Council was Athanasius. This man is a highly esteemed church father and his name is derived from Athena, the Greek goddess Plato called the World-Spirit. There was another Council held at Constantinople. At this Council, men determined that the Holy Spirit was also separate from the Father and the Son. Thus the concept of the Trinity was born.
In 354 A.D. a man named Augustine was born. He is one of the most notable of the church fathers. He laid many of the foundations for the Roman Catholic Church. Many regard him as the founder of Christian tradition in the western world. The New Catholic Encyclopedia tells us that Augustine was given certain books written by Plato. While reading them he had a spiritual awakening that changed his vision of the world. These books also led him to a better understanding of God, and led him to the notion of "The Trinity"(16). He later devoted his life fully to Catholicism, but never forsook these philosophies. He believed that "the basis for faith was found in Christ, and the basis for reason was the philosophy of Plato"(17). Please note that his revelation of the Trinity came not from the Bible, but from reading Plato.
By the time Augustine died, most of the truths of the Book-of-Acts Church had been buried under the teachings of these Church Fathers. These church Fathers did not get their understanding from God, or the Bible. They used the philosophies of Greek men who lived hundreds of years before Christ.
Jesus said, "Wide is the gate...which leadeth to destruction"(Matthew 7:13). The name Plato comes from a Greek word 'platus' which means "wide"(18). These Church Fathers were allowing this scripture to be fulfilled through their teachings. They based much of their philosophies and teachings, including "The Trinity", on the teachings of Plato. Plato was instructed by Socrates. Socrates had wisdom given to him by Greek gods, who Socrates referred to as demons. Is this where the Church should get its doctrines?
NO!! The Bible plainly says that: "God was manifested in the flesh" (1 Timothy 3:16); that "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself"(11 Corinthians 5:19); that Jesus Christ was "the only begotten God"(John1:18, Amplified and original Greek).
Men have been led astray by the vain philosophies of the world. They have tried to explain God using man's philosophies. James said that the wisdom of the world is, "earthly, sensual, devilish" (James 3:15). The word devilish literally means "proceeding from or resembling a demon"(19). This is the very way Socrates got his wisdom.
Jesus did not say He was the second person in a trinity. He said, "I am the first and the last"(Revelation 1:7). You deserve to know the Truth. "The Trinity" is not based on Truth, it is a doctrine that is a deception of the devil.

The Oneness of God
A Biblical Explanation of
the Nature of God
(Of all the articles I have ever written, this is the one I hope you will read in its entirety.)
Is there really a God? If there is, WHO is He?
If there is no God, reading this article would be a total waste of your time. But if there truly is a God, what could possibly be more important than to know exactly who He is, what He is like, and how we can know Him in Truth?
I beg you to journey with me for just a few moments to explore His true nature! This entire article will only take a few minutes, and I really believe you will be rewarded in the end.
Think about it. Knowing the True God has more potential reward than any other endeavor - more exciting than an expedition to an exotic place on earth; more exciting than star gazing or space exploration.
If ANYTHING should be able to capture your attention for a few moments, it should be the study of the Great God who made Heaven and Earth! To obtain that knowledge is the most worthy pursuit of all.
No time for atheism.
I feel sorrow for the atheist. Anyone who rejects the knowledge of God plays the fool. Atheism is a pathetic state of willful ignorance considering the infinite number of proofs of God. Atheists plead an empty cause.
There IS a God. He is real beyond any of our imaginations, and He controls the affairs of men. Let's not demean and insult ourselves by attempting to explain God away.
No time for unbiblical concepts of God.
The Bible is the most ancient and historically substantiated declaration about God. There is no greater authority from antiquity on this subject. It should be the textbook of choice for anyone seeking to know God. If the Bible does not give a convincing revelation of God, then we are free to invent our own. But if the Bible shows us Some One undeniable, we are hostage to its truth.
Outside the context of the Bible, men have ascribed pathetic titles to God. "Divine Providence", "the Universal Consciousness", "The Force", or "the Man Upstairs" are dead give-aways that the speaker does not know Him at all. The True and Living God is Magnificent and Mighty, and we should go out of our way to discover Him.
God of all things.
Right now, we should first admit that WHOEVER the True God is, He is the Father and Creator of all things.
Secondly, we should admit that ambiguous titles for God only mask or obscure His true identity.
Away with trite and inaccurate sayings about God! They only confuse and deceive, leaving us doubting His existence.
Let us no more speak ignorantly of God. Let us study His OWN WORDS about Himself, and see if they are TRUE! If they are not, we can abandon all notion of God if we like. But if His words reveal a Living, Undeniable Holy One, we will have discovered priceless treasure! Certainly, any great God should be able to manifest Himself convincingly to us! And if He can, we should give our lives to Him!
What God is not:
Make no mistake about it - we did not create Him. He created us! He is not made with hands. He is no idol, neither carved nor molten. Neither is He the figment of the human imagination. No mortal mind can possibly concoct all that He is. No philosophy nor ideology can ever substitute for His essence. Either He is self-existent and self-revealing or He is no God.
God is the original invisible living thinking Spirit.
All the world's religions claim to know Him. No religion, however, can prove their God more perfectly than the God of the Bible. Unless and until someone can demonstrate beyond the shadow of a doubt that the God of the Bible either does NOT exist, or is proven inferior to any other gods, we should carefully consider that 1.) He can only be defined in exacting terms. 2.) those terms must be approved by Him.
The most ancient and primordial of all the Sacred Texts is the Holy Bible. The Bible claims for itself to be the Word of God. Read it, and let Him tell what He is like. No extra-biblical examples of God can surpass those He provides for Himself. Let the Holy Bible have its say right now. See if it reveals God to us. If it does, let us believe both it and Him.
God says He is the ONLY GOD.
"I am the Lord that maketh all things;
that stretcheth forth the heavens alone,
that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself" (Isaiah 44:24).
As the SOLITARY Deity, He says He has no peers and no counselors. There are no others like Him. Moses declared, "the Lord our God is one Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4).
"Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any" (Isaiah 44:8b). "I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God" (Isaiah 44:6b).
He is life, the Father of all life, and the Father of all spirits.
He is, at the same time, our God, Father, Lord and King.
David asked, "Who is this King of Glory?", then answered, "The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory" (Psalm 24:10).
This Father Himself said, "I am the Lord, your Holy one, the creator...your King" (Isaiah 43:15).
We know these things because He revealed them to us by His Word. God made Himself known to men for all times with His word. It is because of His word that we know what we know about Him. The ancient men who were moved upon by His Holy Spirit spoke His words. He inspired what they wrote.Their explanations of Him were actually His explanations of Himself.
So as we read His Word, we more accurately comprehend His true nature. Let us look and see Him.
Can men SEE Him? Did Old Testament Men actually see God?
Adam and Eve heard a "voice" walking in the "cool (Hebrew: wind) of the day" (Genesis 3:8). The invisible God manifest Himself to Adam and Eve as a voice in the wind. We have no evidence that the voice came from any particular body, but obviously came from an invisible source in mid-air, in the same manner that it would later be heard by the young child Samuel (I Samuel 3), by John the Baptist (Luke 3:22), and by Saul of Tarsus (Acts 9:4).
The invisible Spirit (Father, Lord, and King) manifest Himself to Abram in a "vision" in Genesis 15:1. He manifest Himself as a "man" in Genesis 18:2, 22, 23, 33; but the "man" was apparently an "angel", according to Genesis 19:1, 10.
Then God manifest Himself to Abimelech in a "dream" in Genesis 20:3.
Later, Jacob also "saw" the Lord in a "dream" (Genesis 28:12), standing at the top of a ladder that reached into heaven. God manifest Himself to Jacob as a "man" in the wrestling match of Genesis 32:24,30, but the prophet Hosea identified that "man" as an "angel" (Hosea 12:3,4).
God's Spirit again "appeared" as an "angel" to Moses in the burning bush of Exodus 3. The "angel" said, "I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob". Yet God is not a mere angel. He only occasionally appeared as one.
In Exodus 19:10-19, God "appeared" to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai. They did not actually "see" Him however, because He "descended upon it in fire, and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly". There were "thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount".
"Moses spake, and God answered Him by a voice", verse 19b. Moses and seventy elders of Israel "saw" an apparition of God, which must have been ghost-like: "and there was under His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in His clearness" (Exodus 24:10).
This was a translucent manifestation of an invisible Spirit, not a flesh and bone appearance, because "God is not a man" according to Numbers 24:19 and Job 9:32, and Jesus testified that "A spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have" (Luke 24:39).
"A cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses", in Exodus 33:9b.
Then, "the Lord spake with Moses face to face, as a man speaketh to a friend", in verse 11.
Even though God was "face to face" with Moses, Moses did not actually see a face.
The only physical manifestation was a cloud, for in verse 20, God said, "thou canst not see my face; for there shall no man see me, and live".
The cloud obviously did not satisfy Moses, so he said, "Shew me thy glory", (Exodus 33:8) to which God replied, "I will make all my goodness pass before thee" (verse 19).
Was His glory or goodness a body? God agreed to put Moses in a "clift of the rock" and "cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen" (verse19).
Even Moses never saw God.
God's "hand" would "cover" Moses. Was God's hand six feet tall? And how could an invisible Spirit extend a "hand"?
Exodus 34:5 describes exactly what happened: "And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him".
The hand of the Lord must have been the cloud, because in fact, that is all Moses saw. Again, there was no actual view of God.
We look painstakingly for a description of what Moses "saw", but we find no evidence of any literal physical body of God at all. Only a cloud.
But God had not promised to show him a body; only the "back parts" (verse 23) of "my goodness" (verse 19) and "my glory" (verse 22).
In one last Old Testament story, we read of the prophet Daniel's great vision of Daniel 7.
He "saw" the Father God, as the "Ancient of Days", "whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool" (Daniel 7:9). Then Daniel "saw" that "one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before Him" (Daniel 7:13).
Since this is a vision that Daniel is having, we must not assume that he was actually "seeing" God in real time, but was viewing an allegorical representation while in a dream-like trance.
Keep in mind that he just "saw" a lion with eagle's wings, a bear with three ribs in its mouth, a leopard with four wings and four heads, and a fourth dreadful beast with iron teeth and ten horns.
No one would construe these to be literal beasts, but figurative and illustrative of a series of world empires in prophetic roles.
When we take into account that "God is a spirit" (John 4:24), we must understand the Daniel's vision of the Ancient of Days was an allegory: figurative and illustrative of the God who is the "Blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen." (I Timothy 6:15b, 16).
In addition, the "son of man" that Daniel "saw" was prophetically illustrative, in the future tense, of the coming Messiah, who would not even be conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary for several hundred years to come.
At the time Daniel "saw" the "son", the son of man did not even exist. The "Only Begotten of the Father" would be made of a woman only "when the fullness of time was come" (Galatians 4:4).
Of the forty-four so-called "appearances" of God in the Old Testament, no one in fact ever "saw" God at all!
The overwhelming evidence is that the Lord God, Father and Holy Spirit of the Old Testament did not actually have a body at all.
What was "seen" was a wide variety of manifestations of God. Voices, dreams, visions, fire, smoke, clouds, whirlwinds, earth-quakes, angels, men, and even ghostlike figures.
None of these forms were actually the fullness of God in a bodily form. They were only temporary, nameless manifestations of the invisible, omnipresent, holy Spirit who calls Himself our Father.
They saw many things, but not His body.
Jesus verified that God was and is invisible by telling the Pharisees, "Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape" (John 5:37).
John declared, "No man hath seen God at any time" (John 1:18a).
It is impossible to believe anyone truly "saw" God, when we are told specifically and repeatedly that God simply cannot be seen. He is invisible!
That brings us to the magnificent miracle that was manifest at the Birth of Jesus Christ.
It was that tiny baby in a Bethlehem stable that Isaiah had referred to when he wrote , "The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man" (Isaiah 42:13).
Jesus Christ was the embodiment of all God had ever said about Himself. "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1:14).
God chose not to remain invisible, but to become visible!
The invisible God had manifest Himself in many forms in the Old Testament, but the highest revelation of God in the Old Testament had been by His Word. It was the Word of God spoken and written by holy men and prophets that was the most consistent and reliable revelation of the invisible God to the Old Testament world.
God had to make Himself a body!
The invisible Spirit had planned all along to take on a human form. He planned to come into the world as a man.
"...The Only Begotten Son... he hath declared Him" (John 1:18b). Webster's Dictionary defines the word "declare" as meaning "to show or reveal".
Jesus Christ, the Son of Man shows and reveals the invisible God.
Philip asked Jesus to "show us the Father". Jesus replied, "Have I been so long time with you and hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father" (John 14:8, 9).
Unfortunately, the human race has not begun to comprehend the overwhelming reality of our Father's appearance nearly 2000 years ago.
The excitement of it all has been lost in the confusion of who Jesus Christ really is.
John 1:10 tells us that "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew him not". That could only refer to the Father God.
Most people do not realize that Jesus Christ was only literal incarnation of the one Holy Spirit - our Father.
Paul communicated the mystery to Timothy: "God was manifest in the flesh" (I Timothy 3:16), and to the Colossians, "In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead (Greek: Deity) bodily" (Colossians 2:9).
If the concept seems different from modern teachings, remember John's observation that even the Jews refused to believe that their Father was in this man:
"He came unto His own, and His own received Him not" (John 1:11).
Is it possible that the same God who was always everywhere, is now somewhere in particular?
Isaiah prophesied that His name would be "Emmanuel", which means "God with us" (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23).
Jesus is the Father "incarnate" - in flesh!
Whereas God, in the Old Testament, had been revealed through His spoken and written Word, God, in the New Testament, is revealed in flesh. Hebrews 1:1 says that He "spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets" but verse 2 says that "in these last days He hath spoken unto us by His Son" and verse 3 tells us that the Son is "the brightness of His glory, and the express image of his person".
The Corinthian church was taught that Christ is "the image of God" (II Corinthian 4:4).
The Colossian church was taught that the Son is "the image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15).
"It pleased the Father that in him (the Son) should all (the Father's) fullness dwell" (Colossians 1:19). That is why John said "the Word was made flesh".
Jesus Christ is Jehovah Savior come in the flesh. In fact, the very meaning of the name "Jesus" is "Jehovah Savior".
Jesus explained, "I am come in my Father's name" (John 5:43).
Jesus is not a clone of God the Father.
He is not a duplicate deity.
He is not Jehovah, Jr..
He is not co-equal and co-eternal with the Father.
He IS the Father (the eternal Spirit) manifest in the Son (the man)!
Jesus, as a man, insisted that He was NOT equal with the Father when he said, "My Father is greater than I" in I John 14:28.
That confirms the Father's oath in Isaiah 42:8b, "My Glory will I not give to another".
Jesus Christ is not the second member of the Godhead.
He is the man in whom the Father dwelt.
God the Father never invented or created a God the Son.
The Son of God was "made of a woman", (Galatians 4:4), and was "conceived...of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 1:20).
That shows the Holy Ghost is actually the Father, since John said the Son of Man is the "only begotten of the Father" (John 1:14).
The human body of Jesus was not only conceived by his Holy Spirit Father, but was a visible shell which actually housed the Father.
"God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself"(2 Corinthians 5:19). He was the fullness of God bodily.
Moses finally saw God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Remember that Moses had desired to see the glory of God's face , but it was impossible in Old Testament times. However, 2500 years later he was resurrected from the dead to see "the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (II Corinthians 4:6, see also Mark 9:4).
Isaiah 9:6 said, "...His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace."
As Spirit, Jesus is the King. As man, Jesus is the Prince.
As Spirit, Jesus is the Father. As man, Jesus is the Son.
Jesus plainly answered the Pharisees question, "Where is thy Father?" by saying "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also." Then He stunned them with this conclusion, "If ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins" (John 8:19, 24).
God the Father came to this earth nearly 2000 years ago in the body of a man who was named with His own name, and he was "despised and rejected of men" (Isaiah 53:3) but "hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us" (I John 3:16).
His Spirit was in that man.
The Father was in the son.
It is the incarnation, purely and simply.
You and I should thrill to know that the man on the cross was the one true God, our Father, and Creator.

Most people who hold the trinitarian view of the Godhead
explain it as follows: God the Father, first person; Jesus, the Son,
is the second person; and the Holy Spirit is the third person, all
eternally co-equal in power, existence and eternal, without an end or
beginning. I agree with the authentic statement Swisenburg said,
"Confessing with their mouths one God but with their thoughts and
heart believe in three distinct co-equal persons. Those who hold the
"trinitarian view" encounter many difficulties in trying to
extricate themselves but superfluously. Article 25 mentioned above
state "none is greater, or less than another." But Jesus plainly
declared as the Son of God, "My Father is greater than I."

Is 43: 8-13
8Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. 9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. 10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. 12I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. 13Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

64. Isaiah 45:22-23 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
66. Colossians 3:17 An whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. This includes Baptism
67. Jesus was begotten John 3:16. Matt: 1:18-23 tells of His birth. Luke 1:26-35 His birth, a body of flesh. This body of flesh was created, begotten by the Holy Ghost, or the Spirit of God, John 4:24. God is a spirit. He got His life from the spirit of God, but He got His body from Mary. Matt. 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-35. He was the only begotten son of God. He was the seed of David, John 7:42. The body did not exist before the foundation of the world, only in the mind and blueprint of God, or the Plan of God
68. Jesus Christ was not actually born before the creation of the world, nor was He actually crucified at that time, but in the plan of God the atoning sacrifice of Christ was a foreordained, certain, event. God does not inhabit time as we do: The past, present and future are all alike to him. He calls those things that be not as though they were Romans 4:17. He created the world with the Son in view, predicating all creation upon the future arrival and atonement of the Son of God.
69. Jesus said no man has seen God at any time: the only begotten son, which is in the bosom of the father, he hath declared him. John 1:8. Keep in mind that Jesus was "begotten". He got his body from Mary. He was made of a woman, made under the Law. Gal. 4:4. He was begotten, the seed of David, II Tim. 2:8.
70.
In the mind and blueprint or plan of God, Jesus Christ was crucified before the foundation of the earth. God spake of things that were not as though they were already. Romans 4:17. We know that Jesus was not actually slain before the foundation of the world, but the earth was made with the Son in view in the plan of God.
71. John 1:8; Col. 1:15 Jesus was the image of the invisible God
72.All things are delivered to me of my Father; and NO MAN
knoweth who the SON IS, but the Father, and who the FATHER is,
but the Son and he to whom the Son will reveal Him. (Luke 10:22).
73.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father,
but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father ALSO. (1 John
2:23).
74.Jesus
said, "If ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your
sins." (John 8:24).
75.
Jude said, "To the ONLY wise God our SAVIOUR the Lord
Jesus Christ, our EVERLASTING FATHER) be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen" (Jude 25).
76.
Isa 44:6 I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour
77.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
78.
Some claim you cannot understand the godhead it has to be taken by faith, but the scripture tell us in Romans 1:20-21
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Romans 1:20-21
79.
In 1 Timothy 3:16 notice some things
God was manifest in the flesh, He made himself known in a body!
Up until this time no man had ever seen God!
John 1:18 declares:
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John 1:18
Jesus declares the Father or makes him known
Consider also Hebrews 1
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Hebrews 1:1-3
80. Matt 28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth. If He has all power, then what is it that He doesn,t have?
Go Ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. "Father" John 5:43, "Son", Matt. 1:21, "Holy Ghost" John 14:26.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: Hebrews 10:5
86. John 3:31-3 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: but He that cometh from heaven is above all.
and what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receive his testimony.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God : (for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him.)
87.Matt 1:18, Luke 1:34-35 Mary was found with child of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary. The Holy Ghost was the father of Jesus.
We have a problem here because in the trinity Doctrine there is three distinct Persons in the Godhead. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, all co equel and all co eternal . Then which one is Jesus's father? God the Father or God the Holy Ghost if the trinity doctrine is true then Jesus has two fathers.
I was teaching a class of Bible School students in India, and I made the statement that if the trinity doctrine is true, and that there are three distinct persons in the Godhead. God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, all co- equel and co -eternal then Jesus would have to have two fathers.
When I made this statement they all came alive and said I see it I see it. One was and older gentleman and He was thrilled, and said now I believe.
88. John 4:24 God is a Spirit. If We can always keep this in mind then there is never any reason to be confused about the Godhead.
89. If the Son was Jesus Christ born Of Mary, then what happened to the Son of God in the beginning? If this were true God would have to have two sons. When We speak of the Son We always mean flesh, and the Son of God from the beginning if there was such a person would have had to enter into the womb of Mary which is impossible.
90. Did God die on the cross?
1. No God is a spirit. John 4:24 only the body of Jesus died on the cross.
2. Mary gave Jesus His body of flesh, but His Spirit or life came from God. The body of flesh died. Luke 1:35
3.Ephesians 4:4- There is one body and one spirit, even as Ye are called in one hope of Your calling.
4. Col 2:9 The fullness of the Godhead or all of the spirit of God was in the body of Jesus, and when Jesus was crucified and gave up the Ghost, the Spirit of God simply left the body.
5. After three the spirit of God came back into the body of Jesus never to to leave it again.Rev 1:18
6. Luke 23:46- Jesus dismissed His Spirit and it went back to the father.
7. 2nd Corinthians 5:19 To wit that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their tresspasses unto them.
8. Jesus is the only one that was raised from the dead by His own power.
God is a spirit and a spirit can't die.
9. Jesus is the body that the spirit of God dwelt in while here on earth.
10. Jesus was God with Us. He proved that He was God by raising the dead John 11:43. He walked on the sea John6:19. He forgave sins, and who can forgive sins but God. Mark 2:5-9. He opened the eyes of the blind John 9:7.
11. The spirit of God left the body and it was in the grave for three days, then after three days the spirit returned to the body never to leave it again.Rev 1:8
12. If God had died ever living thing in the world would have died, because God gives life, and He is the prime mover of life. Genesis 2:7- 1st Samuel 2:6 The lord gives life and takes it away. Job 33:4 The spirit of God both made Me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given Me life. Psalms 100:3 Know Ye that the Lord He is God, it is He who hath made Us and not We Ourselves. Ecclesastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the Spirit shall return to God who gave it.
13. It is impossible for God to die and there still be life on earth, because He holds Our life in His hands.
14. 1st Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of Angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into Glory.
